Saucony Triumph ISO 4 Review
The Saucony Triumph ISO 4 has an all new Everrun mid-sole, gained a some weight and lost a little responsiveness. I wanted to like this shoe, I wanted to love this shoe but in the end it didn't work for me. The cost of a full Everun mid-sole has been the addition of too much weight without reward. While this series has been known for an ultra plush soft ride it only maintains some of the plushness as the new mid-sole has added a more firm stiffness to the ride.
The step in is great but the upper does feel narrow and thick. The ISOfit works and a thick tongue means you can tie it down as much as you need it overall feels a bit dated. The sizing was true to size for me but a little sung in the width the burly out-sole means it will last a long time. This shoe will likely work for a lot of people and if you've run in the previous versions it should be something you try.
